6th International Dietary Fibre Conference 2015, Paris (France), 1-3 June 2015

The 6th International Dietary Fibre Conference 2015 (DF15) is currently taking place in Paris from 1 - 3 June 2015. More than 250 persons from over 35 countries have registered! Online registration has been closed on 22 May 2015. Registrations are now only possible on-site and cost +15 % of listed prices.

Do not miss THE event of the year in the areas of Consumer and Regulatory Aspects, Colonic Microbiota and Functions, Metabolic Health, Dietary Fibre in Food, New Dietary Fibre Sources and Dietary Fibre Properties, Classification and Analysis as well as Increasing Fibre Intake. Two pre-conference workshops on Monday (1 June) morning are completing the official programme:

  • PRACTICAL WORKSHOP on the Measurement of Total Dietary Fibre and Available Carbohydrates; organised by Barry McCleary (Megazyme International) and Chris Kelley (Ankom Technology).
  • MYNEWGUT WORKSHOP, where representatives from the EU-funded MyNewGut project will present and discuss the project plans and expected results with a broad range of stakeholders.

Thanks to the generosity of French Professional Organisations we have the pleasure to invite all delegates to the WELCOME RECEPTION on Monday, 1 June. This event is now free of charge!

All participants are also invited to the Scientific BREAKFAST SESSION organised by Kellogg's All-Bran on Tuesday (2 June) morning prior to the official conference start.

We would be also happy to welcome you at the GALA DINNER on Tuesday evening at the Café Barge Restaurant which is located in the heart of Paris. In the frame of DF15 the following AWARDS will be assigned:

  • ICC Award for the Application of Science in Improving Public Health, sponsored by Kellogg's All-Bran; and
  • ICC Award for Cereal Fibre Research, sponsored by Mondelēz International.

DF15 will continue the highly successful series of the earlier DF Conferences as seen during the past five editions, from Ireland in 2000 to latest in Rome 2012. DF15 is the occasion where scientists, regulators and industry representatives from all over the world can meet in a unique location where participants can develop modern ideas while drawing inspiration from the beauty of Paris.
