I am senior researcher at INRA (French National Institute for Agricultural Research) at the Biopolymers, Interactions & Assemblies Research Unit in Nantes. The major part of my scientific career has been focused on the study of cell wall polysaccharides (particularly pectins) chemical structure and interaction properties with the aim of understanding how structural variability of individual polysaccharides affects cell wall architecture and dynamics. I have authored 93 publications and 14 book chapters (H-index of 37). I organized the XIIIth International Cell Wall Meeting in Nantes in 2013. From 2011 to 2016, I coordinated the EU-funded Marie Curie ITN 'WallTraC' (The Plant Cell Wall Training Consortium, I have acted as an expert for several projects (institutional and private partnerships). Since the 1st of June 2016, I am appointed as deputy manager of INRA CEPIA Division. At the outset of this new mission, I ambition to support Michael O'Dononohue head of CEPIA Division to make the Division a leading player in research and innovation for the development of sustainable processes for the bioeconomy.
